Medical Malpractice Attorneys
When a healthcare provider's negligence causes preventable harm, the consequences are often severe and permanent. These cases require deep resources — and we bring them.

How We Help
What to know about medical malpractice claims
Medical malpractice occurs when a provider fails to meet the standard of care that a reasonably competent provider in the same specialty would deliver — and that failure directly causes injury. Common examples include missed or delayed diagnoses (especially cancer, stroke, and heart attack), surgical errors, anesthesia mistakes, medication errors, and birth injuries.
These are among the most technically demanding cases in personal injury law. Every claim requires expert medical review, sometimes multiple specialists, to establish both the standard of care and how it was breached. Cases without strong expert support don't survive.
Both California and Florida cap non-economic damages in medical malpractice cases. California's MICRA cap increases annually under 2023 reform and depends on injury type; Florida's cap has been partially struck down by the state Supreme Court. We navigate both frameworks to maximize recovery.
Damages available include past and future medical care, lost earning capacity, disability, disfigurement, and — subject to statutory caps — pain and suffering. Where a healthcare system knew about a dangerous provider or unsafe practice and failed to act, larger claims may be available against the institution.

Frequently Asked
Common questions about medical malpractice
Not every bad outcome is malpractice — medicine has inherent risks. Malpractice requires proving the provider deviated from the standard of care and that deviation caused the harm. We consult medical experts before filing anything.
